NEWBORN

A tiny bundle of joy..

I know how precious your baby is & that is why I had newborn photography training with a wonderful photographer in Mansfield.

It is a bonus that I am a mum myself, but the training allowed me to learn how to safely position babies and how to wrap them etc.

I have now photographed a number of newborn babies and achieved some lovely images from the shoots :)

I know that when you have just had a baby, life can be a bit of a whirlwind - so that is why i try to create a relaxing environment within my home studio where you can sit on a comfy sofa, have drinks & snacks and have some quiet time whilst i wrap, position and photograph your baby in front of your eyes.

Packages start from £150

CHOOSING YOUR COLOURS

Your baby is your pride and joy.. and that's why its very likely that you wish to capture those brand new early days of their life outside the womb. As we know.. time flies within the blink of an eye! It is also likely that you will wish to display their images proud within your family home. When choosing colours for the backdrops, wraps and outfits that we use for the images, it is important to think about whether the colours suit your home décor. If your home is light and airy, you may wish to use creams, beiges and neutral colours. Perhaps you have a bright, colourful home, and therefore wish to include those colours within your baby's photos. You may wish to have wall art or collage prints made so its a good idea to think about where you would display these within your home.

CHOOSING YOUR PROPS

Depending on the package you choose, there are a few step ups we can use for your baby's images. My photoshoots are baby led, so as long as your baby is content and happy to be photographed, preferably in a sleepy state, we can work our way through the set up's.

SETUP NO.1 - a stretched coloured backdrop over a beanbag. Baby can be wrapped, a wrap draped over them, an outfit or just bare skin positioned on the beanbag.

SETUP NO.2 - the use of props! choose out of a number of props for your baby to be placed in, for example - baskets, bowls, buckets, wooden bed and many more!

Then you can choose the flooring the prop will go on. This could be a wooden floor, fluffy rug or an abstract coloured material.
